Mixed Media Mosaic
This gentle little piece is the Infant of Prague. It is lit with a pink LED light and, as most of my Saints are, the image is mounted into an Altoid tin. The facade pieces (two) are hand made out of polymer clay. It is approx 7" in height.
Hi, just wanted you to know that I checked out your creations on the this blog. I hope you can get yourself into the gallery on Minnetonka Blvd. Anjee...the person who does the claymates I mentioned to you may be getting in there too. Anjee works at the place next door..Dunn Brothers...where I job coach students. In college I liked to create J. Cornel style art shrines with religious imagery. In the end I put together a free standing post and lintel fired clay structure around 6 feet long and 9 feet high. Anyway, I really liked your work. It seems like polymer clay has come into it's own as a serious medium. The best of luck to you. Stop in again to Ah..Boheme. Thanks. Tim
