Detail of 'Love's Currency"The heart is a Christmas ornament I found at a thrift shop. The wings are wood. The crown is a piece I made out of polymer clay, adorned with an antique key hole.

- One of my favorite "hats" to put on is that of an artist. I like the conceptual process and playing with textures and reusable things; beads, foam, wood, thrift shop trinkets, commercial tile and especially my handmade polymer clay tiles. I just love rubbing my hands all over these things and letting the pieces I make create themselves. Perhaps because I don't follow written instructions very well...
