This is what "Stories II" looked like during its construction.  The substrate is a piece of computer packing foam that I dug out of the dumpster at my day job.  It already had the concavity in place so, I just tiled the inside, installed an LED light, and started putting mosaics and beads on it.  The glass is a magnifying lens I purchased at the Axman Surplus Store, probably left over from an ophthalmologist's office. For adhesive, I use Apoxy Sculpt, Silicone and Weldbond, depending on what I am adhering.
